I look at my pale short legs thinking ‘I need to shave.’ I sigh realizing that summer isn’t close to being over and I have nothing to look forward to. I see my mom preparing dinner â€Å"Hi mom† â€Å"Hi sweetie, what are you doing?† â€Å"I don’t know, I need something to do this summer.† I sigh. â€Å"Why don’t you go volunteering, all your friends are.† My mom suggested. â€Å"Where would I volunteer at?† I questioned. â€Å"I’m allergic to cats so I can’t go to the humane society, I don’t like gardening or cleaning, and I don’t like children.† I exclaimed. â€Å"Why don’t you help out at Sweet Waters Nursing home?† My older sister chimed in. â€Å"Yeah, all the older people down there get so†¦show more content†¦I got the key from my pocket and unlocked my bright purple bike. Did you get any times for volunteering? When do you start?† My mom bombarded me with questions. â€Å"I start tomorrow from 9-11 every morning.† I responded while digging for my fork and sitting in my specific seat at the dinner table. We all silently ate our food. When we finished I put my plate in the sink and headed upstairs for bed. I groan as I sit up from my soft cloud-like bed and turn off the alarm. 8:30 the time shows while I rub my eyes, I get up and stretch dragging my feet to the closet. While lazily picking out clothes for the day and getting ready. I trip down the stairs and put my shoes on. I see my dad at the table scrolling through his computer. â€Å"Bye dad I’m off to the Nursing home.† â€Å"Have fun Kirstin.† He says. I grab my bike and hope on. I feel the morning dew on my skin, I wave to the friendly mailman in his uniform that looks so uncomfortable. As I get close I can see the green and yellow sign that says ‘Sweetwater Nursing Home’ I smiled at the sight. Beowulf v. Grendel Essay - 1084 Words

Janell Touchette Period D 3/6/05 Beowulf/Grendel Test 1.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;An anti-hero is the opposite of a hero. It is the character that goes against all the traditional values of society. Grendel has strong traits of the average anti-hero. He lives in a cave with his mother in the middle of no where. Everybody in the land refuses to accept him, even as the lowest of their kind, and they are constantly trying to kill him. He is deprived the rules and consequences of society by not being allowed to join men, he rejects the values and rules of political establishment by terrorizing Hrothgar’s kingdom, and he is often angry because when the shaper sings he falls into the trance of possibility, but then remembers the dragon. He†¦show more content†¦It was kind of Beowulf’s fault that she was now a problem. So Beowulf was armed and went into the water with a goodbye to his Geats and the Danes. Nobody expected him to come back, but when he did, carrying the sword that killed Grendel’s mother and Grendelâ €™s head, he was honored with more treasures than anybody had ever been honored with and Hrothgar’s love. Hrothgar confided in him that after ruling for so long, you really do become preoccupied with the safety of your people and yourself. Ruling becomes more of a task than an honor. You feel as though nothing you do will be enough. So Beowulf, who had arrived with nothing more than the idea of glorifying his name, had left with the wisdom of a king. Beowulf’s last battle took place in his homeland. He wasn ow king and was not fighting for glroy, but for the safety of his people. He knew that his fight against the dragon would probable be his last, but he was not aftaid of dying. He was afraid he wuold not be bale to kill the dragon. In the end both him and the dragon died. It only makes sense that the greatest man of all time should defeat the greatest beast of all time. The aftermath of this battle was somewhat different but also the same as all the rest. Most important factor among these factors is the previous experiences of the individual as the behaviour of the customer gets affected by the satisfaction level customer have derived from the consumption of the product or service (Musasa, 2014). Businesses need to analyse the behaviour of the customers for analysing the chances of survival and growth of the business. Customer behaviour changes constantly due to which buying decision of the customer changes. Culture can be defined as the values, customs, beliefs and behaviour adopted by the different individuals of the society for coping with the world. The culture of every country differs from each other which create an impact on the customer behaviour. Culture plays a vital role for business as it shapes the behaviour of the customer towards the products or services offered. Culture is the sum total of different elements which determine the behaviour of the customer. Elements which sum up the culture are society, attitude, and feelings of the individuals, traditions and language (Speirs, 2011). Cultural aspects of the country create an impact on the choice of the customers and buying decision of the customers. The culture of the customer shapes the perception of the customers, values adopted by the customers and actions of the customers. Wants of the customers are determined on the basis of the culture. Businesses need to analyse the culture of the country for determining the behaviour and thoughts of the customers on which their buying decision is dependent on. It has been analysed that the sale of the product or service at one location is more than the other one. This is due to the differences in the culture of the locations (Durmaz, 2014). Culture sets boundaries for the business to operate within. Culture determines the manner in which individual spends money. Cultural aspects of every country differ from another which creates an impact on the choice and selection process of every individual. Cultural factors are crucial for determining the buying behaviour of the customers. Culture set the preference or the buying pattern among the customers (Akpan John, 2016). Business needs to analyse the culture of different locations for enhancing the customer base and enhancing the performance of the business. The culture of the location is an important element which ensures the satisfaction level of the customers from the products or services offered. The culture of every country is dynamic as changes are taking place in the values, beliefs and behaviour adopted by the society. Service encounter can be explained as the transactional interactions between two persons in which one is engaged in providing service or product to another person. Service encounter is the medium for the exchange of the products and services. Service encounter includes tangible as well as intangible products or services which have the potential to create an impact on the satisfaction level of the customers. It forms a base for the interaction between the service provider and customer (Singh, 2013). It is vital for a business to develop healthy relationships with the customers. Service encounter creates a huge impact on the experience gained by the customers. The satisfaction level of a customer depends on the treatment customer gets from the servi ce provider during the exchange of the service or product. Perception of the customers towards the service is dependent on the service encounter. Chances of success of the business can be determined with the help of the positive service encounter (Larsson, 2009). In this competitive world, the role of service encounter in the service and product management industry is increasing. Increasing competition has motivated companies to enhance the quality of the services or products. This provides a competitive advantage to the companies as well as builds a healthy and positive relationship between the service provider and customers. This enhanced quality of the products or services has developed loyalty among the customers. The quality of service is judged by the customers on the basis of the service encounters. The quality of the services rendered to the customers acts as a customer retention tool. Service encounter is also termed as Moment of truth (Wang Hsu, 2012). The quality of the services forms a base for the expansion of the customer base and gaining the trust of the customers. Service encounter helps in focusing on the quality offered to the customers for the attainment of the desired goals. Measurement of the satisfaction level of the cu stomers helps in analysing the response of the customer towards the products or services offered. Type of relationship between the service provider and service receiver is determined by the effectiveness of service encounter. When a customer feels that it is valued by the service provider, then it feels satisfied and trust is generated among both the parties towards each other (Singh, 2013). Innovative Research in Computer and Communication †Free Samples

Question: Discuss about the Innovative Research in Computer and Communication. Answer: Introduction This report is about Headspace - the association that works with youth whose age is between 12 and 25 and suffering from mental ill health. The stress as well as anxiety are the main cause of their mental health. The suicide cases of young people in territorial NSW between 16 to 24 age group has been especially a cause of alarm, between Indigenous youth. The main issue was that the young one who is suffering from some dysfunctional behavior can analyze various experts before visiting any specialist. Every time he has to discuss his story again and again which is very much irritating for him. It can be a General Practitioner, a clinician, or a psychiatrist. Firstly, the patient has to go to the manager of Headspace, then after that they need to discuss the same with medical staff. The main objective of hospital is to address the health as well as prosperity issues of youngsters by giving a comprehensive stage of care. This would give comfort to young people that their help will be coo rdinated by primary care and concentrate on the 'ailment' as well as social incorporation and recuperation. The Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) may be characterized as the auxiliary class prerequisite that are mainly overlooked during the development procedure of an application. These requirements remain hidden, dominated or we can say are dismissed or overlooked. These requirements are very hard to manage and are the most costly in specific cases. NFRs turn out to be even more imperative with cloud framework on the grounds that the simultaneous load and reaction idleness are more helpless utilizing public systems as compared to being used on private systems. Comparatively much efforts are required to map NFR models into programming code. Building up a cloud based framework with useful prerequisites just isn't sufficient to develop a good as well as useful programming. NFRs ought to wind up noticeably an essential part of development process. Neglecting to address NFRs requirements in the designing process can make the product fail as its difficulty in the usage in spite of the fact all the functional requirements are fulfilled. By including non-functional requirements into the development process, the software application can handle all the requirements as well as it can provide the ease of use as indicated by the current principles. These requirements show how the framework acts and incorporates necessities managing framework execution, operation, required assets and costs, confirmation, documentation, security, portability as well as dependability. Fulfilling non-functional requirements is very important to build up a cloud based application speed up the opportunity to-the-marketing process. The main non-functional requirements are as following: (Devata, S. Olmsted, A., 2016). Usability The main users for the cloud based system solution will be the doctors team who can view the status of particular system online. The system will be easy to adopt. The condition of patient who really need the doctor assistance is entered into the system by doctor or medical staff, so that information once entered can be accessed by authorized users whenever required. (Kaur, H. Ahamad, S., 2015). Reliability - Easily accessibility, its accessibility as well as its reliability make cloud computing system a better answer for medicinal services interoperability issues. While frequently referred to as a potential obstacle to open cloud reception, expanded requirement for security and dependability prompts economies of scale because of its fixed part of speculation which is required to accomplish operational security for a reliable system. In case of hiring cloud computing space from the supplier, it makes cloud computing a minimal cost with more security. Coordinated Exchange empowers Headspace project to effortlessly and safely send the patient data, like lab reports and results, patient referrals, patient condition etc. to another specialist. This data is sent over the Internet in an encoded, secure, and reliable path from one specialist to another. (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, 2016). Performance - The performance of the cloud framework is defined as the limit of the framework or programming in order to process the equal transactions every time as it is submitted to it without facing any error. Regardless of the way that the framework is functional as well as dependable when it neglects to make productive utilization of assets like CPU cycles, disk space etc. Its execution isn't great that is the execution of the framework isn't up to the check. Performance of the system is that how the execution of framework can perform regardless of in spite of the fact that the product will be able to reach its response time targets. It also finds that how the cloud based framework in Headspace project must have the ability to scale with incalculable exercises for each second, minute, or hour. Performance is the ability of system that various transaction can be made at the same time whether doctor is accessing the system or medical staff is using the system. It does not affect the database of the system. (Kaur, H. Ahamad, S., 2015). Security As the system which is to be implemented is based on cloud computing, therefore, it needs to be protected from any unauthorized access or malicious threat. These type of threats must not be allowable on the cloud based system. Security initiatives must be based on some standards or laws like HIPPA needs to be implemented on Headspace system because patient information is very confidential and no one has right to use it for wrong purpose. After implementation of cloud based system, strict rules must be implemented. (Md. Rahman, M. Ripon, S., 2013). As the functional requirements are based on the system, how it looks, what type of options it has, on the other hand, non-functional requirements are focused on how to use the system, what are the security concerns, is the system a reliable to use etc. In case of Headspace project, the healthcare system must be focused on what type of information it must save and it is considered as functional requirement. (Goldsmith, R., F., n.d). NFRs have a few qualities that are different as that of FRs. The non-functional requirements are subjective, relative, as well as interfacing. Subjective in light of the fact that they can be seen, deciphered, and assessed contrastingly by various individuals. Relative implies that the translation and significance of them may differ contingent upon the specific framework being created and also the contribution of stakeholder. Cooperating in light of the fact that they have a tendency to meddle, struggle or negate with each other. This implies accomplishing a specific NFRs can harm or help the accomplishment of different NFRs. Dissimilar to FRs, NFRs are more theoretical in nature. In developing a cloud based framework, clients regularly state NFRs as general objectives, for example, convenience, the capacity to recuperate from its failure, or great response time. Subsequently, these obscure objectives leave the issue with various translation among partner. (Mairiza, D. Zowghi, D., 2 009). Review of Cloud Based Solution Strengths - The primary favorable position of cloud computing is that Headspace don't have to pay for framework, its installation, required labor to deal with such foundation and support. In a cloud processing framework, there's a noteworthy workload shift. The recuperation of patient relies on the correct treatment. To get the correct treatment there must be appropriate communication amongst patients and specialists. Coordinating distributed computing and Headspace illuminate many issues. For better treatment consistent therapeutic supervision of interminable patients or habitants at remote, secluded and underserved areas is required. The innovative electronic healthcare administrations are required to be made accessible through a system whenever, wherever and to anybody. Cloud computing can be utilized for capacity as well as processing of gigantic medicinal records. These records will be accessible at cloud and can be easily accessible at any place. Specialists can utilize these r ecords to track and screen understanding patient health status. Patients can likewise see their records. (Chowdhury, C., R., 2014). Weakness - By switching to cloud based solution in Headspace, the main risks can be its security, its accessibility as well as its control to the third party shows that Headspace has positively no influence over where the data is stored. By having trust on the cloud supplier can be against the distinctive significance. Security as well as protection of data must be impenetrable. Other main challenge is its information accessibility, error restrictions, disaster reinforcement and fast response times. The unauthorized access of information brings about serious results to the organization and more cost in its recovery and reestablishing information and also notify the influenced people. (Lusk, R., 2012). The threat to compromise patient data is very high because of the inclusion of numerous groups, devices as well as applications attracted for the control of medicinal information due to an enhanced number of access focuses to the healthcare information of patients that is stored on cloud foundation. It plays an imperative part in keeping up and managing control over Headspace association medicinal information that is being stored crosswise over various remote cloud database areas. The confidentiality of data can be achieved by encrypting techniques and algorithms that incorporate public key sets, symmetric key, and length of the key and administration of the key in the situation of symmetric cipher. Security is thought to be a critical tenant of cloud framework w.r.t HIPPA standard and the trust of the human services associations end. The Headspace project must be given with the translucency in their operations and confirmation of security by the cloud provider organizations. (Khattak Abbas, 2015). In developing a cloud based framework for Headspace project, agile method will be used. In Agile method every development procedure appears as something else and the current strategies should be customized all together to best suit the undertaking prerequisites. It gives strategies to evaluate the advancement and dangers and furthermore the bearing all through the development lifecycle. For Headspace project, agile platform will be used because it helps to reduce the expenses as well as change of uncertainty. The main advantages of agile systems are as following: Advantages 1. It understands the necessities as well as changing nature of programming advancement by considering genuine activities regardless of their sizes. It advances cooperation. Everybody engaged with the advancement process cooperate at the same time on various territories of the product. A working programming item is accessible in the early periods of the product. Very few rules are applied to agile development process. It moreover requires the base measure of assets analyzed to different models. Here, planning is a willful stage and makes the procedure simple to oversee and adaptable. (Kannan, V. Jhajharia, S., 2014). Disadvantages - 1. Indistinct timelines: With the majority of its focal points, the adaptability of Agile could leave the door to delaying of project. Since the task needs to be reprioritized as well as developed with every cycle, the time can be extended into boundlessness. Expertise dependent groups: Agile must be intended for small multidisciplinary groups. It is implied to single individual for each part (i.e., the creator). High time duty: Agile is good if everyone is concentrated on the project. This is valid for Agile on the grounds that some part of the technique is centered around dynamic group contribution and up close and personal effort that could be tedious as compared to the conventional approach. Inclination to disregard documentation: The Agile model accentuates working programming over far reaching documentation. (Upwork Global Inc., 2015). 25 Active Adjectives for Your Résumé

25 Active Adjectives for Your Rà ©sumà © In the United States, distance learning at the college level has some advantages, but also some disadvantages that are pertinent to your ability to get the job you want with your online degree. It  becomes especially important for graduates of distance learning institutions to take steps to overcome this deficit when applying for a job. Your rà ©sumà © is where youll start. Deficits the Rà ©sumà © Can Help Overcome Employers often have some reservations about hiring graduates of online institutions - an attitude confirmed by a doctoral research study, The Market Value of Online Degrees as a Credible Credential, as well as by reports in U.S. News and World Report,  The New York Times  and elsewhere. The research study and news reports indicate that some reservations about distance learning graduates are simply the consequence of a lack of familiarity with the quality of education some online institutions offer - a reservation probably exacerbated by the well-publicized downfalls in 2016 of a few online degree institutions, especially the widely reported failure of The University of Phoenix. Beyond general (and sometimes not fully informed) objections to online learning by corporations considering new hires, there are some recurrent specific objections expressed by HRTs in the research study and in these news report that you will need to address. These are: Objections to degrees from unaccredited institutionsObjections to degrees from unfamiliar institutionsThe belief that science and engineering (and some other) courses require hands-on classroom experience unavailable onlineThe absence of the kind of social experience available in bricks and mortar institutions that prepare students for corporate employment - especially experience working in teams. How to Overcome These Deficits in Your Rà ©sumà © Herere some of the things you can do in your rà ©sumà © to combat these deficits. Make it easy for whoever reads your rà ©sumà © to believe in the validity of your institution. Theres no one right way to do this but consider footnoting the first mention of your institution with a short, but specific reference to its government accreditation. Dont simply supply the U.S. Department of Educations general website. Report concisely on the specifics of the governments accreditation of your particular institution. In no more than a sentence or two, do what you can do differentiate your institution from others of lesser repute. If your institution has some famous alums, mention one or (at most) two.  Ã¢â‚¬â€¹Briefly (this is the most important word to remember when drafting your rà ©sumà ©) point to whatever you can that establishes that while your institution may not be widely known, its an institution thats been in business for a while and is widely respected. This might be combined with the first suggestion, above. If youve had other kinds of hands-on experience, and many distance learners have, state this early in your rà ©sumà © to dispel the idea that your online degree hasnt provided you with real-world experience. Make it clear youve had other experiences related to your field that are equally valid. Do what you can - again, being both specific and concise - to show that youre comfortable and experienced working with others, either in some program that your online institution provides or through your life experiences.Help your rà ©sumà ©Ã‚  reviewer understand your strong points by using adjectives (but not too many of them!) that point them out. Several of these also address the points raised in 1-4, above. The Objectives of Plagiarism and Censorship

The Objectives of Plagiarism and Censorship Hashtag: #SinCensuraVigilantes (Without Vigilant Censorship) The Objectives of Plagiarism and Censorship Censorship is commonly known as suppression of anything objectionable while plagiarism prevents stealing and offering other authors ideas as your own. Censorship is common in media, films, TV, books, the Internet, and so on because they are a powerful medium of communication that has the ability to influence millions of people. The power to engage in censorship is not limited to the government because private organizations and  individuals can be involved in censorship. Censorship can be voluntary undertaking such as self-censorship of your own work (authors, film directors, etc.). Not all people are happy with censorship as it restrictions often deprive people of facts, and suppress their freedom of expression. Censorship in the print media such as newspaper, books, etc. greatly reduces the quality of information they deliver. Since a morning newspaper with graphic images of casualties of a tragic car accident can greatly affect their families’ feelings, the reading public will only see the censored images of the  accident rather than the reality of driving too fast or being more concerned about safety. Similarly, censorship of a film depicting the abuses and discriminatory practices of government offices against a certain ethnic group will likely deliver nothing but entertainment rather than truth and policy change. Plagiarism, on the other hand, is normally strict on literary works as books, journals, and so on because they are academic papers that usually contained ideas acquired from years of painstaking research. Certainly, presenting these ideas as your own is fraud, depreciation of their hard work, and breach of their intellectual rights. Want to know more? Go here: The Limits of Academic Freedom Educational Field Trip Safety Issues The Scientific Basis for Defining Seasons Who and What Deserve Respect Torture Is Never Justified The act of plagiarism usually occurred when a person writing an essay, for example, write exactly the same words or sentence that the person read from the source without proper citation. It can also occur when the writer acknowledged the wrong author or used copyrighted images without permission. The Similarities of Plagiarism and Censorship Some people see plagiarism and censorship as two different things living in an entire world. Others see censorship as suppressors of obscenity and plagiarism as eliminators of literary thieves. However, there is more to them than meets the eye. That is if one would dare see them in right perspective. Censorship suppresses the publicity of immoral and offensive materials. In other words, it prevents people from getting any credit from something that is ethically and legally unacceptable. Similarly, censorship prevents people from presenting materials that will hurt the dignity of those involved. For example, a film entirely centered on women’s nudity, a video showing a young innocent boy abused, or an article containing provocative ideas about the superiority of one man’s color over the other definitely deserve censorship. The point here is the fact that censorship, similar to plagiarism, is actually dealing with and resolving problems the same way. This is because plagiarism also suppresses the publicity of immoral written material that does not only contain stolen ideas, with an author expecting to gain from another man’s pain but offensive to the cheated readers of these deceitful academic materials.
